Field Name |
Description |
---|---|
SPARCS Pict ID |
Specify a unique identifier for the equipment icon that is displayed for this equipment type in XPS. For XPS operations, to display the correct equipment icon in XPS you must enter the SPARCS Picture ID code that corresponds with the selected equipment type. For more information, see Container Icons (on page 1) and Chassis and other icons (on page 1). |
Milli-TEU's |
A milli-TEU is a fraction of a TEU. For example, 1 TEU (a 20' container) equals 1000 milli-TEU's and 2 TEU's (a 40' container) equals 2000 milli-TEU's. For a 45' container, you can specify the milli-TEU's as 2250 to indicate its ability to carry more than two TEU's. Similarly, for a 48' container, you can specify the milli-TEU's as 2400. The above values are examples that you can change according to your terminal operations. You can use these values to measure the container throughput for your terminal, which is the number of TEUs that have passed through the port from one transport carrier to another. N4 uses the value in this field for reporting and during the SNX Export and Import. |
